Glocal is a word just so you know. My home church has been using that term to describe an idea of where we need to have our mindset and our physical campuses. If it is in Wikipedia, you know it is true. :) I did look it up to see if was something that was made up recently or what. It stems from the Japanese in the 1980s.
Examples of glocalisation can be found many places including web applications like Craig's List or Meetup. They provide a service for a local community, but serve communities all over.
